Bent Møller Jepsen
Bent Møller Jepsen is a Danish furniture designer. He started his career as an upholsterer and in his furniture design, quality upholstery is always the guiding principle. Jepsen has worked and taught in most parts of the world on production, materials, quality, and design.

Jepsen began his career in furniture upholstery, working as an apprentice to his father from the age of 14. He was the 3rd generation of upholsterers in the family. Jepsen finished his training in 1952 and continued his studies to become a furniture designer at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. After graduating in 1956, he moved to Switzerland and worked with upholstery and furniture design before returning to Denmark to work for his father’s company, Sitamo Furniture.
Jepsen designed most of Sitamo’s furniture collection from 1957-1976, always with aesthetics, quality, and functionality as the guiding principles.
Jepsen has traveled the world and worked in the furniture industry as both a designer, consultant, and teacher in many countries around the globe including France, Sweden, Kuwait, and China to mention a few.
